My name is Lauren Gupta.

I live just south of Manchester, where I live with my husband and our many houseplants! 

​

I love cooking, and am gradually building up my menu of Indian dishes, inspired by my in-laws.

​

I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors. You'll often find me in our local park spotting birds and admiring beautiful trees.

​

I also enjoy learning languages. I studied Spanish at University, with some French electives, and am now teaching myself Hindi. I love finding the patterns, and perfecting my accent.

I'm lucky enough to be supported by brilliant friends and family, who all do such different and interesting things. From medical insights from a GP, to wine knowledge from a Sommelier, and from tips on web design from Graphic Designer to house-buying knowledge from surveyor!

I wanted to put this website together to keep track of my squiggly career and to appreciate all those who have been part of my career journey.
